Backstage News On Several Big Names Changing Promotions

Matt Hardy’s WWE contract is up in a couple of months and there’s a good chance he leaves for Impact, Ring of Honor or All Elite Wrestling.

Hardy and WWE aren’t far apart on money, it’s just Hardy wants to be booked more prominently considering he’s in the latter part of his career. Whether or not WWE is just being careful with Matt in case he does leave or he really is just being booked as an afterthought, it’s unlikely he’s going to get a run in the top of the card with the company.

Other names possibly on the move, Marty Scurll continues to be linked with a move to AEW. However, Ring of Honor is offering him big money to stay.

Brodie Lee, the former Luke Harper, is finishing out his 90-day non-compete clause attached to his WWE contract and is expected to draw interest from mainstream promotions.

It’s also possible The Revival end up in AEW as they’ve been wanting to do a program with The Young Bucks for quite some time. Should they choose to leave WWE, it’s expected they would draw interest.
