It was made official on this week’s Impact Wrestling that Eric Young will defend the Impact World Championship against Rich Swann in a marquee match at the Bound For Glory pay-per-view on October 24.

Their rivalry was started in the Slammiversary main event where both men returned to action. Young injured Swann for the storyline, and the two have been at each other’s throats ever since with Swann temporarily doing a retirement angle.
Young vs. Swann is the only match confirmed for the card so far. Based on current booking trends, other matches in the works would include Kylie Rae vs. Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo, a multi-team Tag Team Championship match, and possibly a multi-man X-Division Championship match. EC3 vs. TNA World Champion Moose is also expected to be added to the card.
