Paul Heyman has been pushing for some talent on RAW to get more wins, which is the reason behind recent squash matches.
The thinking is the stars that need built up need to get over as much as possible, so they’re scheduling short (one-two minute) matches to accomplish that. So the next time you see a match that is short with a finisher, that’s probably the rationale behind it.
