The Rock made headlines when he and his partners purchased the XFL after its reboot was brought to a halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now Dwayne Johnson will be venturing into new territory with the XFL.
Ever since his purchase was made public knowledge, the Rock has wasted no time in emphasizing his ownership of the XFL. Initially, people hoped it would return in 2021, but it seems that will not be happening.
Dwayne Johnson took to Twitter and officially announced that the XFL will be making its return in the Spring of 2022. He said it is “uphill battle,” but promised no one will ever outwork them.
