Top Japanese wrestler Jiro Kuroshio is set to sign with WWE and will likely start with NXT, according to Dave Meltzer.
Kuroshio recently stated in an interview that he planned to leave Japan for a move to the United States. WWE gave him a tryout in Shanghai, China back in July. WWE’s verified NXT twitter account tweeted out a clip of him participating. In the clip, WWE Performance Center Head Coach Matt Bloom can be seen praising his work.
Kuroshio is a protégé of former WWE Cruiserweight & Tag Team Champion Tajiri.
