WWE continues to go all out with new marketing techniques during this pandemic era of events.
This year’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view will now be referred to as “Extreme Rules: The Horror Show.” WWE subtly changed the name in the match previews on dot com.
There’s already speculation that this tagline was added because Universal Champion Braun Strowman will face Bray Wyatt in a possible cinematic match similar to either the House of Horrors or the Firefly Fun House.
As of this writing, only two matches have been announced for the Extreme Rules card on July 19th:
WWE Championship Match
– Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler
Raw Women’s Championship Match
– Asuka (c) vs. Sasha Banks
