WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman out to open the show. Heyman says Uso defeated a King, braved the Brogue, and solved a Riddle. He introduced Jey Uso.

Uso came out and thanked Heyman. Paul told him to thank Roman because it was his plan. Roman told Jey he earned this and will get a huge payday. But it won’t be his moment because just like when they were kids, Roman will win.

King Corbin came out and said he hates nothing more than watching someone abuse their power. Sheamus came out and agreed with Corbin that Reigns pulled strings to get Uso in the match. Uso challenged Corbin and Sheamus to face him and Reigns in a tag match. A brawl ensued.

Also tonight: Alexa Bliss vs. Nikki Cross vs. Lacey Evans vs. Tamina Snuka for a shot at the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Sami Zayn in the production truck. He is upset about Jeff Hardy vs. AJ Styles being advertised.

AJ Styles beat Jeff Hardy via disqualification in a WWE Intercontinental Championship match. Sami Zayn was involved, getting tossed by Adam Pearce at one point. He ended up coming back out and taking out Styles, which caused the DQ finish.

Alyse Ashton explained outside the trainer’s room that Jeff Hardy is suffering from dehydration. Styles talked about how he can beat Hardy and will prove he is the one and only IC Champion.

The Street Profits interrupted a backstage segment with Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura. They were in the “champion’s lounge.”

Kalisto and Gran Metalik (w/Lince Dorado) beat WWE Tag Team Champions Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro in a non-title match. The finish saw Kalisto roll up Cesaro as he was distracted by the Street Profits partying backstage with Matt Riddle, Drew Gulak and some women.

Next week on Raw: Asuka vs. Mickie James for the Raw Women’s Championship, Nakamura & Cesaro vs. The Street Fights, Seth Rollins vs. Dominik Mysterio in a cage match and WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Keith Lee in a non-title match.

Otis w/Tucker beat John Morrison w/The Miz. Finish saw Otis hit the Caterpillar followed by a splash to get the pinfall win.

A Firefly Funhouse segment with Bray Wyatt aired. Something very special is missing from the Funhouse thanks to Roman Reigns. That’s okay, everyone experiences loss and how you handle it defines the person you become. Wyatt introduced The Persevering Parro but the parrot didn’t come up. He probably should have poked some holes in it.

The Vince McMahon devil appeared and said Wyatt lost the title, the parrot and his trust. Wobbly Walrus was introduced Paul Heyman style. A to be continued graphic aired.

WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns w/Paul Heyman & Jey Uso beat Sheamus and King Corbin. The finish saw Reigns spear and pin Sheamus. Roman went down to the stage where Heyman held his hand up as he shot Use a nasty look to end the show.
