There is a real possibility WWE adds a sixth NXT TakeOver event in 2020, according to WrestleVotes.
The report states the addition is dependent on how NXT does when it moves to the USA Network on September 18.
This year, WWE held NXT TakeOver events in January, over Wrestlemania 35 weekend in April, the first weekend of June and SummerSlam weekend in August. There is one TakeOver show remaining this year that will take place over Survivor Series weekend in November.
WWE has done five TakeOver events each year since 2015 with the exception of 2016 when they did four.
There are a lot of things changing with NXT now that the brand is moving to the USA Network. WWE is going to make more in television revenue and talent are expected to be paid more like main roster talent. We have further details on the changes at this link.
