Alberto Del Rio Indicted For Aggravated Kidnapping


Alberto Del Rio continues to make headlines for all the wrong reasons. He was previously arrested on sexual assault charges back in May.

According to a report by PW Insider, Alberto Del Rio will appear before the court. The court has listed his charges as aggravated kidnapping in the first degree. He could be spending several years in prison as the maximum sentence for such a charge is 99 years, with a minimum of 5 years and/or up to a $10,000 fine.

If the charge is reduced to second degree, then he could be jailed from 2 to 20 years and/or a $10,000 fine.

In Texas, a conviction for aggravated kidnapping, if punishable in the first degree could result in a a prison sentence ranging from 5 to 99 years or life imprisonment and/or a fine up to $10,000.  However, if the accused can prove they released the alleged victim voluntarily, they could only be convicted of aggravated kidnapping in the second degree, which could result in a prison sentence ranging from two to 20 years and/or a fine up to $10,000. gave a detailed account of what transpired.
