Alberto Del Rio Is No Longer Charged With Sexual Assault & Kidnapping

Alberto Del Rio faced charges of second-degree sexual assault and aggravated kidnapping. However, it seems those charges might have been dropped.

Del Rio’s accuser, who is his ex-girlfriend, took to Instagram and made an apology post for her ”mistakes.” To this, Del Rio’s brother called her a garbage person and a liar.

Upon further digging, it was found that no current record exists for Alberto Del Rio’s case. As told by Dallas Justice, according to Texas State Law: “Under certain circumstances, you may be eligible to expunge your criminal record under Texas law. If a case was dismissed by the District Attorney’s office or No Billed by the Grand Jury, you may be eligible to expunge your records.”

Alberto Del Rio had a trial date made official after he was indicted by a Texas Grand Jury. His previous charges have now been expunged, but there is still one instance of his trial that remains. The Bexar County website notes that:

“Jose Rodriguez Chucuan [Alberto Del Rio] is charged in a multi-count indictment. The indictment alleges that on May 3, 2020, Chucuan committed one count of aggravated kidnapping and four counts of sexual assault.”
