Plans for WWE Clash Of Champions had to be changed prior to the pay-per-view starting as Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler and Nikki Cross were removed from the event. Some believed it was due to the COVID-19 virus but that is not the case.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that all three of the competitors who were removed from the pay-per-view did not test positive for COVID-19. The three were in contact with a person who had the virus, so WWE was afraid the virus would spread. That is why they were pulled for precautionary reasons.
Usually, Superstars are quarantined for 14 days due to possible exposure. We will have to see when they return.
