During a recent episode of his podcast, Booker T explained he believes Big E is going to have to “shed a few things” in order for people to look at him like a world champion.
Book said he may have to alter his gear and the colors. He does not believe that trying to be The New Day is going to work for him at the top of the card. The WWE Hall of Famer explained you cannot try to rehash something you have been doing for so long and think that it is going to take you to the next level.
Xavier Woods, Big E’s tag team partner currently out with an Achilles injury, caught wind of the comments and replied on Twitter:
“because doing what other people told us to do worked so well for us before we started doing what we wanted to do…. oh wait ?,” Woods tweeted.
