NJPW To Announce G1 Climax 30 Tournament Participants

New Japan Pro Wrestling will announce the participants for this year’s G1 Climax 30 tournament this week.

The announcement will come between the third and fourth matches during their September 9 show at Sendai Sunplaza Hall in Miyagi. Below are the announced matches for the that show:

• Hiromu Takahashi & BUSHI vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru & El Desperado
• Ryusuke Taguchi & Master Wato vs. Taiji Ishimori & Gedo
• Tetsuya Naito, Shingo Takagi, and SANADA vs. EVIL, Dick Togo, and Yujiro Takahashi
• G1 Climax 30 participants revealed
• Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kota Ibushi, Yuji Nagata, and Tomoaki Honma vs. Minoru Suzuki, Taichi, Zack Sabre Jr., and DOUKI
• Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii, YOSHI-HASHI, and Yuya Uemura vs. Kazuchika Okada, Toru Yano, SHO, and Gabriel Kidd
• Satoshi Kojima vs. Yota Tsuji

The G1 Climax 30 tournament will begin on September 19 at the Osaka Prefectural Gym. It will conclude on October 18th at Sumo Hall in Tokyo.

Due to restrictions imposed by COVID-19, B block tournament entrants will not compete on A block tournament cards and A block tournament entrants will not compete on B block tournament cards.
