Crown Jewel Moves Indoors: Full Card for Saturday in Riyadh
Summary: WWE Crown Jewel is Saturday, Nov. 7, at noon ET, and it now runs at an indoor arena in Riyadh. Reigns vs. Zayn and Green vs. Morgan are the two Champion vs. Champion matches.
The quick version
- Crown Jewel airs Saturday, Nov. 7, at noon ET / 9 a.m. PT.
- U.S. viewers: ESPN App with an ESPN Unlimited plan. Everywhere else: Netflix.
- The show moved indoors to The Venue in Riyadh after a venue change announced Oct. 28.
WWE Crown Jewel is two days away, and the card is set. WWE's own preview page lists four matches, led by two Champion vs. Champion bouts.
The card, per WWE
- Roman Reigns (World Heavyweight Champion) vs. Sami Zayn (Undisputed WWE Champion)
- Chelsea Green (WWE Women's Champion) vs. Liv Morgan (Women's World Champion)
- Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton, Last Man Standing Match
- Bron Breakker and Austin Theory (World Tag Team Champions) vs. Penta and Je'Von Evans
The tag title match came together on the Oct. 26 Raw, when General Manager Adam Pearce gave Penta and Evans their shot after The Vision attacked them, WWE says.
What changed about the venue
Riyadh Season announced on Oct. 28 that Crown Jewel was moving to a new venue. It said ticket holders would get full refunds and that tickets would be offered again within 48 hours. PWTorch reported at the time that the show would stay in Riyadh.
Ticket listings now show the event at The Venue, an indoor arena, according to POST Wrestling. Athlon Sports, which calls the building ANB Arena, reports it is smaller than the outdoor stadium first planned.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer gave the reason as security. As quoted by Athlon, he said: "The move was based on the idea that in an indoor arena they can improve security and have greater control on what gets in."
One thing to know: WWE's Crown Jewel preview page still describes the show as coming from Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD, the original site. We have not seen WWE publish its own notice of the change.
What to watch
The show closes out a busy week. WrestleMania 43 is set for Riyadh next year, so the safety questions around this event are being watched closely, as TKO's Mark Shapiro addressed this week (see our separate story).
