AEW has taped several weeks’ worth of new Dynamite and Dark episodes in Norcross, GA, according to PWTorch.
These tapings were completed right before the shelter-in-place order went in effect for the state of Georgia. A state official was said to be on site to make sure everyone was abiding by social distancing rules.
Additionally, the report states that AEW has “enough footage taped to create storyline-advancing matches that can fill two hours of weekly TV for TNT every Wednesday night for weeks if not months if necessary.”
The first-round and semi-finals matches of the TNT Championship tournament were reportedly filmed. The finals will take place at Double or Nothing on May 23rd.
All talent from this past Wednesday’s Dynamite were in attendance, as well as production staff and the like from the Southeast region who were able to get to the taping location by car.
There’s no knowledge of any AEW talent or staff showing signs on the coronavirus, but everyone was encouraged to stay in isolation for two weeks.
