Triple H did not provide clarification on the status of Kevin Owens during last night’s post-NXT TakeOver: WarGames conference call.
It’s possible Owens could be back full-time with NXT but at this point, we don’t know for sure. Hunter did say that both Owens and Finn Balor want to be part of NXT to compete against the best.
WWE has been crossing over talent to the brand and it finally paid off last week as NXT beat AEW Dynamite in viewership for the first time since Dynamite premiered at the beginning of last month.
Balor is on record as to saying he wasn’t happy on Raw or Smackdown.
