SoCalUncensored is reporting that Brian Cage is leaving Impact Wrestling after signing a multi-year contract with All Elite Wrestling.
This would explain why Cage’s match against Rob Van Dam at Hard to Kill never began. Instead, RVD injured Cage and went on to defeat Daga.
The report also states Ring of Honor offered Cage a higher dollar amount, but Cage opted for a company with more exposure. “The Machine” is expected to report to AEW “soon.”
Following a run with Lucha Underground, Cage joined Impact in early 2018 and successfully held the X-Division and World Championships.
