Chris Jericho remains one of the top stars in All Elite Wrestling as he is constantly featured on the show as the leader of The Inner Circle. It seems there was a chance he would have worked in Impact Wrestling.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the fact that Impact Wrestling spent a huge sum of money to sign Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows to the company.
He then revealed that the company offered Chris Jericho a huge sum of money as well, but it was not as much money Tony Khan pays him. If AEW never existed, it was likely he would have signed a contract with Impact Wrestling.
It was noted that Jericho could have done “whatever he wanted” with Impact Wrestling and “not been in the spotlight.”
