Universal Championship Match
Seth Rollins (c) vs. Braun Strowman:
– It’s possible The Fiend awaits the winner here. The theme of the night is interference and I expect The Club to do so. Rollins retains and goes on to face “The Fiend”.
WWE Championship Match
Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Randy Orton
– This match has the best story going in WWE, but since Hell in the Cell is the next PPV, expect another funky finish and HiaC match in this future.
Raw Women’s Championship Match
Becky Lynch (c) vs. Sasha Banks
– If Banks helps Bayley retain, I expect the favor to be returned. Sasha wins.
SmackDown Women’s Championship Match
Bayley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
– Banks distracts Flair enough for Bayley to retain.
Roman Reigns vs. Erick Rowan
– This match cannot end clean. Primate or Bryan get involved here. DQ win for Reigns.
Raw Tag Team Championship Match
Seth Rollins & Braun Strowman (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode
– Somewhere in this match Rollins and Strowman get in each other way and causes the loss. Roode and Ziggler become new tag champs.
United States Championship Match
AJ Styles (c) vs. Cedric Alexander
– These two may have a match that can steal the show, but AJ reigns.
Intercontinental Championship Match
Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. The Miz
– Miz wins a record 9th Intercontinental Championship, but I expect Sami Zayn to be a factor in the end.
SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match
The New Day (c) vs. The Revival
– I expect this match to be great. These tag teams know how to go to the limit but The New Day doesn’t lose.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross (c) vs. Fire & Desire
– Mandy Rose and Sonya DeVil have been destined to win these titles and I think they pull it off here.
WWE Cruiserweight Championship Triple Threat Match
Drew Gulak (c) vs. Humberto Carrillo vs. Lince Dorado:
– These 205 Live championships are so hard to predict so I’ll go for an upset and pick Humberto Carrillo
24/7 Title
R-Truth vs. Everyone
– R-Truth does not leave as champion after about 7 to 8 title changes, Maverick wins and finishes the job with his wife.
Jason Barlow
Universal Championship Match
I am going with Seth Rollins for the win, but not without controversy. I think Brock Lesnar interferes during the match in some capacity, attempting to dismantle Rollins and costing him the win. But “The Beast Slayer” overcomes and wins. Following the match, Rollins is confronted in the ring by The Fiend.
WWE Championship Match
I am thinking this match ends in a double count out after both men get knocked out. This would allow the story to continue to the next PPV and end inside Hell In A Cell.
Raw Women’s Championship Match
SmackDown Women’s Championship Match
I’m going out on a limb and saying that Sasha Banks beats “The Man” to become the new Raw Women’s Champion. On the Smackdown side, Bayley will retain the SmackDown Women’s Championship. This will lead to a reuniting of them as a tag team before the brand split officially happens following Hell In A Cell.
Roman Reigns vs. Erick Rowan
IF, and that’s a big IF, this match ends clean with a clear winner, it will be Roman Reigns. However, I expect heavy interference in this match from Daniel Bryan.
Raw Tag Team Championship Match
I’m going against the majority and think that Roman and Strowman retain the gold here. This will lead to bigger things down the road involving a larger picture of the Tag Team. However, expect The OC to definitely interfere in this match.
United States Championship Match
AJ Styles drops to Cedric Alexander here. Cedric has been on a major roll in WWE as of late, and has significantly improved his in-ring awareness and style. I don’t see how he can’t be put over here!
Intercontinental Championship Match
I’m not sure what it is, but Nakamura just doesn’t seem to be as enthusiastic and exhilarating in the ring as he was. I think Miz goes over here to win the Title.
SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match
The New Day retains here and are still your W…W…E…SmackDown…Tag Team Champions.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
I think Fire and Desire will win here after interference from Sasha and Bayley costing Bliss and Cross the Championship. This will set up a feud between the 4 of them before the Brand split.
WWE Cruiserweight Championship Triple Threat Match
Does anyone still watch 205 Live? Gulak for the win and to retain.
24/7 Championship
The better question is, who isn’t going to win this belt tonight? R-Truth leaves with the Title at the end of the night.
