NXT’s women’s division is receiving a boost.
After Io Shirai defeated Candice LeRae at TakeOver 31, Toni Storm appeared via satellite to warn the champion that she is officially back in NXT. Storm has spent most of her WWE career in NXT UK, and she beat Shirai in the finals of the 2018 Mae Young Classic.

Following Storm’s promo, Ember Moon emerged as the advertised mystery person with an updated look and gimmick. Moon has been on the shelf for a year following an ankle injury. This will be her second NXT run after she headed to the main roster in 2018.
