Gabriel Kidd Suffers Neck Injury, Card Changes To NJPW Shows

Gabriel Kidd suffered a neck injury and as a result has been removed from New Japan Pro Wrestling’s cards from Korakuen Hall on August 26 and August 27.

As a result, Yuji Nagata will replace him to team with Yuya Uemura and Yota Tsuji against YOSHI-HASHI, Tomohiro Ishii & Hirooki Goto on August 26.

On August 27, Satoshi Kojima will team with Tomoaki Honma & Yuji Nagata to face YOSHI-HASHI, Tomohiro Ishii & Hirooki Goto. Kojimi, who was scheduled team with Hiroyoshi Tenzan against Yuya Uemura & Yota Tsuji but that match has been canceled. Instead, Yota Tsuji will face Yuya Uemura in a singles match.

“Gabriel Kidd has suffered a neck injury and will not be able to compete on Korakuen Hall cards on August 26 and 27. Changes have been made to both cards accordingly.

We apologise to fans who were looking forward to seeing Kidd wrestle. We appreciate your understanding and wish Kidd the best in his recovery.
