– Brock Lesnar went over Kofi Kingston in mere seconds to win the WWE Championship. Kofi charged Lesnar as the bell rang but Lesnar caught him and gave him an F5 and covered him for the win. The bigger story was the debut of Cain Velasquez, which Jason wrote about here on WrestlePages.com.
– Kevin Owens beat Shane McMahon in a brutal ladder match, with the storyline being that Shane is now “fired” from WWE.
