Survivor Series Predictions

Here are your Survivor Series predictions from the staff of Wrestle Pages!

Brock Lesnar (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. Rey Mysterio for WWE Championship

Nicholas – No way we don’t see Dominik or Cain Velasquez here. As much as I think match will suck, the story is good. This ends in a no contest.

Jason – I expect a high flying, physical matchup from Rey in this one. Brock will be the usual physical type, going to the F5 frequently, with Mysterio countering several. Expect outside interference in this match as well from Velasquez, and possibly Dominik. Fury will cost Lesnar the Title and lead to a match between the 2 at TLC in December. As for Mysterio, this will be his final run as Champion as he passes the torch.

Branden – Stone Cold Steve Austin recently named Brock Lesnar as his wrestler of the decade, and it’s hard (if not impossible) to argue with him. Brock has been on a roll, and we know he brings his A game against smaller opponents, but expect this match to end the same as the rest. F5, and a 3 count.

Becky Lynch (Raw Women’s Champion) vs. Bayley (SmackDown Women’s Champion) vs. Shayna Baszler (NXT Women’s Champion)

Nicholas – Shayna Baszler competed in War Games last night, no way she’s 100%. Hopefully these three can hold a strong match until Becky eventually wins.

Jason – Shayna is coming in hot and mad after last night. Being that this match has no DQ, expect objects to get involved during the match with a highly physical presence. Hopefully this match can either improve or display a dark side of Bayley, which she is in desperate need of doing.

Branden – Shayna Baszler vs Becky Lynch is money. Pure, easy money. If Ronda doesn’t come back in time for WrestleMania, that’s your Marquee match. It’s easy to forget Bayley is even in this match, but I wouldn’t count her out. With that being said, expect Shayna to get the pin on Bayley for an easy setup to a mega matchup vs The Man.

The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) (Raw Tag Team Champions) vs. The New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston) (SmackDown Tag Team Champions) vs. The Undisputed Era (Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly) (NXT Tag Team Champions)

Nicholas – The Viking Raiders beat up on everyone here and continue their domination over the tag team division.

Jason – After losing last night, I think the UE have something to prove and will win this match.

Branden – This is an easy one. The Undisputed Era is a powerhouse of a group, in NXT. On the “main roster” they haven’t been booked as strong, as they’ve spent most of their time running away. They lost last night at NXT War Games, and while that loss won’t hurt them in the slightest, tonight is the night to get their win back and prove their dominance. And that, boys and girls, is Undisputed.

Team Raw (Charlotte Flair, Natalya, Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Sarah Logan) vs. Team SmackDown (Sasha Banks, Carmella, Dana Brooke, Lacey Evans, and Nikki Cross) vs. Team NXT

Nicholas – As much as I think the mystery of the NXT roster is interesting, the fire power of Raw is just to much. Expect Charlotte Flair to get the final pin.

Jason – With the team Rhea Ripley put together, they are going to be a force to be reckoned with! I believe Team NXT picks up the victory here.

Branden – The Women of NXT had one hell of a match at WarGames, and I expect they will be looking to continue that. Expect a fully unified team looking to show they are the real backbone of the Women’s Revolution. While you can’t count out Raw and SmackDown, the teams seem thrown together and may not have the cohesion NXT will have.

Team Raw (Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, and Ricochet) vs. Team SmackDown (Roman Reigns, Mustafa Ali, Braun Strowman, King Corbin, and Shorty G) vs. Team NXT (TBA)

Nicholas – Team NXT has to win here. All this build up the past month and with the possibility of Balor and KO on this team. NXT goes over here with the upset of the night.

Jason – Even though we don’t know Team NXT yet, with the shock return of Kevin Owens to NXT last night, I expect him to be Captain. I think he and Triple H have a few tricks up their sleeve and we aren’t going to be getting just NXT stars. With KO performing the crotch chop, I think we get a DX reunion of sorts here with Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg, Kevin Owens, and possibly X-Pac for team NXT. Team NXT picks up the victory here.

Branden – You want the easy answer? Always bet on Roman Reigns. Friday night on SmackDown, the show kicked off with Baron Corbin trying to silence the SmackDown locker room so he could “rally the troops”. They ignored him. When Roman showed up, however, the superstars silenced immediately. That tells you he will have a firm grip on his team. Team Raw has had many issues between the teammates lately, and I expect that will spill over into the match. Team NXT is the darkhorse here, and while they will be made to look strong, Team SmackDown will walk away victorious.

AJ Styles (United States Champion) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (Intercontinental Champion) vs. Roderick Strong (North American Champion)

Nicholas – Too easy AJ Styles wins.

Jason – This match should be full of high spots. In the end, I think Strong comes out winner.

Branden – As I said previously, Undisputed Era will look to show their dominance, and this match has all the makings of match of the night, and even a potential match of the year candidate. Nakamura hasn’t been made to look strong, and while you can never count out The Phenomenal AJ Styles, Roderick Strong will win this match up.

“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt (c) vs. Daniel Bryan for WWE Universal Championship

Nicholas – The Fiend is on another level. Hopefully there’s some more mind games from the Fiend. Bryan doesn’t stand a chance.

Jason – The WWE ruined this one by advertising Bray Wyatt as Champion at TLC, unless we are all being swerved. Wyatt goes over here.

Branden – The Fiend Bray Wyatt is the hottest thing in wrestling. No one doubts that. He has been on such an incredible tear that I feel Daniel Bryan is in over his head. Bryan will mount a huge comeback, but the power of The Fiend will be too much. These two showed what they can do in the 2014 Royal Rumble, and tonight will be no different.

Adam Cole (c) vs. Pete Dunne for NXT Championship

Nicholas – I expect this to open the show and the UE leader opens with a BOOM BAY-BAY. Adam Cole wins.

Jason – This should be a phenomenal match between the two! Expect lots of aggression and pops through the match. In the end, I expect Adam Cole to retain thanks to interference.

Branden – Adam Cole will not be losing the NXT Championship. Let’s get that out of the way. Pete Dunn will have a great chance to take it however, especially after his insane performance in WarGames. I expect Cole to be on defense for most of the match, until the end when the Undisputed champion puts Dunn away. As an aside, I’m not a fan of how often Dunn has lost since losing his NXT UK title, and I’m hoping he will find himself back in a NXT title picture soon.
