Sheamus was brought to Chicago for WWE Survivor Series weekend. Whether or not he’ll appear on tonight’s show remains to be seen.
The Celtic Warrior was cleared to return to the ring in mid-September but the company has been waiting to bring him back. Apparently it’s a situation of creative not having anything for him and WWE waiting on the right time to reintroduce him in storylines.
Sheamus is still considered part of SmackDown and hasn’t worked since the post-WrestleMania 35 episode of SmackDown due to a concussion. He’s also had issues with spinal stenosis. Sheamus did some work for WWE in July but he obviously has not returned to the ring.
