UFC Star Makes Debut On SmackDown Following Title Change

Following SmackDown’s main event, which saw Brock Lesnar squash Kofi Kingston in under 5 seconds to win the WWE Championship, Cain Velasquez would come out to the ring accompanying Rey Mysterio. Brock looked down the ramp like he had seen a ghost and this appears to have set up a future match between Cain and Brock.

It should also be noted that there is absolutely no love between the two as Brock Lesnar lost to Cain Velasquez at UFC 121 in 4:21 to TKO. Velasquez’s record in UFC is an astounding 14-3-0, with his only losses coming to Francis Ngannou, Fabricio Werdum, and Junior Dos Santos. It is also breaking that the plan was to have Velasquez debut on Raw during the beatdown on Rey and Nick, but that was scratched and moved to Friday for the debut on FOX.
