As announced on WWE Monday Night Raw, current WWE Universal Champion and Raw tag team champion Seth Rollins will defend his Universal Championship against his tag team partner, Braun Strowman, at Clash of Champions.
Tensions have been slowly mounting in a slow-burn between the two since Seth Rollins defeated Brock Lesnar for the championship at WWE SummerSlam.
Rollins and Strowman won the tag team titles from the former champions, Anderson and Gallows, on the August 19 edition of Monday Night Raw.
Other confirmed matches for Clash of Champions are as follows:
– Seth Rollins (c) vs. Braun Strowman for the Universal Championship
– Seth Rollins & Braun Strowman (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode for the Raw Tag Team Championships
– Bayley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship
– King of the Ring Tournament Final
WWE Clash of Champions will take place on Sunday, September 15, at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
