Humberto Carrillo was drafted in the third-round of the 2019 WWE Draft because there are plans for him to be groomed as a next generation Hispanic star in the company, reports Dave Meltzer.
Carrillo, 23, is considered a high upside talent that has the potential to help carry the Latino demographic into the future. Anyone that has followed WWE for any length of time knows Vince McMahon has tried for years to find someone other than just Rey Mysterio to get over.
