WrestleMania 36 Moved To WWE Performance Center

After days of speculation, WWE has announced that WrestleMania 36 will still take place on Sunday, April 5th at 7pm ET.

The event will no longer take place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, however, but will instead emanate from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL.

Below is the official statement:

“In coordination with local partners and government officials, WrestleMania and all related events in Tampa Bay will not take place. However, WrestleMania will still stream live on Sunday, April 5 at 7 pm ET on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view. Only essential personnel will be on the closed set at WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida to produce WrestleMania.”

Much like recent television tapings from the PC, WrestleMania will have “essential personnel” at the closed set, meaning no fans will be in attendance.

This drastic change is as a result of the coronavirus pandemic that is affecting many countries all over the world, including America.

Below is the current card for WrestleMania 36 at the Performance Center:

WWE Championship
– Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Drew McIntyre

Universal Championship
– Goldberg (c) vs. Roman Reigns

Raw Women’s Championship
– Becky Lynch (c) vs. Shayna Baszler

NXT Women’s Championship
– Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair

– John Cena vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt

– AJ Styles vs. The Undertaker
