As noted, Ivar of the The Viking Raiders suffered a possible injury on Raw when he took a dive outside of the ring and followed it by throwing up the dreaded “X.”
In an update, WWE.com noted that Ivar suffered a cervical injury and was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation. He’s expected to make a full recovery.
“During the Eight-Man Tag Team Match on Monday Night Raw, Ivar suffered a cervical injury on a Viking Dive to the floor. As a precaution, Ivar was transported to a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.”
A timetable for his return has not been set, but it sounds like Ivar will be back in action soon.
