WWE Title Plans For HIAC, Raw Underground Finished?, Using Marijuana In WWE, Illogical WWE Trades

What are the plans for the WWE Championship at Hell in a Cell?

The plan as of last night at WWE Raw was for Drew McIntyre to defend the WWE Championship against Randy Orton in a Hell in a Cell match at the pay-per-view next month. WWE dropped hints in Orton’s promo on McIntyre but obviously did not confirm it as they had Robert Roode return in a WWE Championship match in the show’s main event. WWE did this as a way to get people flipping over from ESPN Monday Night Football in attempt they would come by to check out the main event. The Ambulance Match at Clash of Champions was not scheduled to be the program blow-off between Orton and McIntyre.

Why was Raw Underground scrapped from this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw?

WWE is not doing away with the Raw Underground segments… at least not yet. They were not incorporated on this week’s episode of Raw because there are several talents currently in a 14-day quarantine due to COVID-19. WWE is dealing with another COVID-19 outbreak and not only have they had to pull any talent who tests positive but they have to isolate anyone who came in contact with a known positive for two weeks. This is what is going on with Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Retribution and more.

Does marijuana count as a Wellness policy violation in WWE? If so, that is ridiculous!

WWE does not count drug tests positive for marijuana as a Wellness violation. If a talent tests positive for marijuana, they are hit with a $2,500 fine that is deducted from the talent’s downside guarantee. It is also stipulated talent are prohibited from consuming alcohol at any time within a 12-hour period prior to any WWE event or WWE scheduled performance. If they do, they will also be hit with a $2,500 fine. WWE does count Synthetic Cannabinoids such as K2 or Spice as Wellness violations as those substances are considered much more dangerous.

Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke were traded from SmackDown to Raw. What did SmackDown get? Why does WWE do such illogical things?

WWE moved Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke from SmackDown to Raw but failed to announce anything SmackDown was getting in return. It was the equivalent to when a professional sports team trades a player for “cash considerations” or a “player to be named later.” It is yet another flaw in the way WWE does things and a real missed opportunity. They could take minor roster moves and make them out as a big deal by announcing trades on social media or on their website.
