Former United States Democratic Presidential candidate Andrew Yang was on CNN where a tweet he made about WWE’s classification of independent contracts was shown and it was asked if he would like a job in the Biden administration as Secretary of Labor.
“I’ll do whatever Joe and Kamala want me to do to help us get to the next page in our country’s history, Ana,” said Yang. “I think the post you’re talking about was my categorizing the misclassification of professional wrestlers as independent contractors, which is completely ridiculous given that the WWE controls their name and likeness for years and controls their activities in many ways. But anything that Joe and Kamala have for me they think will help move the country forward, I would love to help.”
As noted here on WrestlingNews.com, Yang posted a series of tweets over the weekend blasting WWE and Vince McMahon for their ban on talent working with third party affiliates.
