Backstage News On Wrestlemania 36 Card, The Undertaker, Hogan And More

The Undertaker is currently not in the plans for Wrestlemania 36. Whether or not that changes in the coming months remains to be seen but there are discussions ongoing regarding his participation.

While there is no obvious match for him, it is unknown if the discussions surrounding the WWE legend are in regards to an appearance at the show or working a bout.

Undertaker is on record as to stating he is not ready to retire so it is likely he will work for WWE this year. He made his official television debut for WWE at Survivor Series 1990, with the 2020 edition of the show marking his 30th year. We’re expecting something big later in the year as a result.

The only bout official for Wrestlemania 36 is Brock Lesnar vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship. However, other matches rumored are as follows:

  • Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship
  • Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship
  • Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair for the WWE NXT Women’s Championship
  • Randy Orton vs. Edge

John Cena’s status for the show remains uncertain, but as noted, he plans on being at the show. Hulk Hogan is someone who has been lobbying for a match, something that could come to fruition given it is in Tampa.

Wrestlemania 36 will take place Sunday, April 5, 2020 from the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL.
