Eric Bischoff is no longer employed by World Wrestling Entertainment.
WWE issued the following statement via their PR team: “Bischoff is no longer with the company and has been replaced by Prichard.”
Bischoff was hired back in June, along with Paul Heyman, to serve as the Executive Directors of SmackDown and Raw respectively. The roles were not for on-screen appearances but for legitimate backstage roles where they would oversee the company’s top brands.
Bischoff even moved, along with his family, from Wyoming to Connecticut so that he could be near WWE headquarters in Stamford.
