Details For WWE’s Policy Of Taking Ownership Of Superstars’ Cameo Accounts

WWE will be taking ownership of WWE Superstars’ Twitch and Cameo accounts in a matter of four weeks. Vince McMahon made the role so that Superstars would leave third party sites.

Some WWE Superstars have already left Cameo, such as Roderick Strong and Scarlet. According to Wrestling Inc, WWE has incorporated some especially harsh rules when it came to Cameo. The company is having Superstars sign over their Cameo accounts along with their Twitch accounts.

It is mandatory for Superstars to affirm that WWE is their “authorized representation,” requiring them to authorize all payments they get from Cameo to WWE. It was also said that Cameo will not be “made a party in any dispute between the talent and WWE.”

Despite being allowed to have their Cameo accounts, the company can pull authorization for Superstars to have their Cameo account whenever they desire. The money Superstars earn from Cameo will also be deducted from their downside guarantees.
