Following last night’s brutal main even match involving Kairi Sane, Asuka, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair, Sane was examined by doctors and placed in a concussion protocol. Later in the match, you could easily tell that Sane just wasn’t completely there in the sense of setting up her spots correctly. There were even instances where Asuka would be checking on Sane and she had the real look of concern on her face.
We are not certain of where the concussion happened, but there are 2 spots that have the strongest belief. The first spot was when she took a monitor to the head from from Flair and Lynch. The other spot was where she was put through the table. Following the table spot is where you could really tell she was out of it.
WWE has not released any further information regarding the incident, but did have her checked out at a local medical facility after their doctors examined her. It is very likely that Sane will not be seeing any in-ring action for the next few weeks as a precaution.
