We noted earlier here on WrestlePages.com the plan was for Kairi Sane to return to the ring for WWE at their post-Christmas live event on 12/26 from Madison Square Garden. That has now been changed.
Sane will not wrestle on the show and the event will now feature Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka in a steel cage match. It was originally scheduled to beThe Kabuki Warriors vs. Flair and Lynch inside the cage for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Sane was concussed at WWE TLC last Sunday and despite publicly stating she is OK, WWE appears to be acting out of caution.
