Karrion Kross Vacates NXT Title; Fatal Four-Way To Crown New Champ Set For Next Week

Karrion Kross vacated the WWE NXT Championship on this week’s episode of NXT on the USA Network.

As previously reported here at WrestlingNews.com, Kross suffered a separated acromioclavicular joint at NXT TakeOver XXX against Keith Lee. He was scheduled for an MRI on Sunday and speculated on the severity of the injury.

Kross came out with his arm in a sling and stated he was a “realist” and understand the reality of his injury. He knows WWE will not let him compete.

“On the path there are obstacles, but for me, the obstacles are the path,” said Kross.

He put the title on the mat and walked to the back.

William Regal announced later in the show there will be a Fatal Four-Way Match to determine the new WWE NXT Champion on next week’s show. The match will be Tommaso Ciampa vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Finn Balor vs. Adam Cole in a 60-minute Iron Man bout.

We’ll have complete coverage here at WrestlingNews.com.
