Mark Henry Believes Adam Cole’s Outburst Was A Shoot, Will Be Reprimanded

Mark Henry was on Busted Open Radio were he and Bully Ray discussed the incident between Pat McAfee and Adam Cole.

For those that missed it or are just now hearing about it, Cole cursed out former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee during an interview featured on The Pat McAfee Show.

McAfee went at Cole with a number of different things, including his size. Many, including us, felt like it was a publicity stunt. Henry does not think is.

“If you called Dusty Rhodes fat he would assassinate your career, you couldn’t work at a bingo hall in Poughkeepsie when he got through browbeating you,” said Henry.

“Pat McAfee has those kinds of abilities. He’ll do it, sleight of tongue, if you will. He’s slick. You can’t just go on with someone that can really go verbally and not expect for what happened to happen.”

“Pat started pushing his buttons then. Adam Cole was the heel because he started it. And I love Adam Cole,” said The World’s Strongest man. “He was the one that said, ‘Of all people to try to poke at somebody. You were a punter.’ He was the one that stabbed first. So he’s the heel.”

When Bully Ray asked if Cole and McAfee went into business for themselves or if Cole wanted to put down the microphone and punch McAfee in the face, Henry, responded:

“Usually the best things come from reality. And I think if it’s not – it will be. It should be but I don’t think it is. This is not a work. This is real shit that’s going to have to be turned into business because it’s too good not to.”

“Here we are with all the stuff that happened for a week in pro wrestling. And we’re talking about a verbal disagreement on a show. It was real and that’s why we’re talking about it.”

Bully Ray questioned is this type of behavior was acceptable by the WWE.

“No, he’s going to be reprimanded,” said Henry.

Bully Ray also looked at how WWE could be upset with McAfee for going at one of their guys in the way they did when the company has always been good to him. Check out the discussion in the tweet below:
