More Confirmed COVID-19 Cases In WWE

COVID-19 continues to impact WWE, just as it does every other part of the world.

Cornell Gunter, who works for WWE’s Content Innovation Lab, announced on social media he tested positive for COVID-19. So far, the only other names associated with WWE to make public they have tested positive include producers Jamie Noble and Adam Pearce and on-air talents Kayla Braxton and Renee Young.

As reported in an exclusive Backstage News Update here on WrestlingNews.com Insider, there are friends of Apollo Crews who believe he is positive but that has still not been confirmed. Crews was pulled from last weekend’s The Horror Show at Extreme Rules due to COVID-19 concerns.

There have been a total of at least 60 cases in WWE since testing was started. That number includes talent, production and employees.
