– In the main event of this week’s Impact Wrestling, Eric Young defeated Eddie Edwards to become the new Impact World Champion. EY returned to the company in July at Slammiversary following his WWE release in April. This is Young’s second World Title run after capturing the TNA World Championship in 2014.

– Tenille Dashwood returned to storylines during Deonna Purrazzo’s Black Tie Affair. Dashwood has been away during the pandemic due to being immunocompromised. Her sights are being set on the Knockouts Championship once again.
– The guests of Wrestle House made their return to the Impact Zone during this week’s show. Everyone was able to come back following the engagement of John E. Bravo and Rosemary.
