WWE announced yesterday that the NXT shows for tonight in Jacksonville, FL and tomorrow in Fort Pierce, FL have been postponed. The Jacksonville, FL show will take place on September 20th now, while the Fort Pierce, FL show will take place on September 28th. If fans have tickets to these events and cannot make the new date, they are being requested to contact WWE by email at: NXTTickets@wwecorp.com no later than 7 days prior to the new dates.
It is important to note that WWE is keeping a very close eye on this major hurricane as it continues to bear down on Florida. They have already begun taking necessary precautions with securing up the Training Center and location where NXT is filmed at Full Sail University. It should also be noted that Full Sail University is equipped to handle a major hurricane and can serve as a temporary shelter if needed.
For all our readers in the path of this potentially destructive storm, please be sure to stay safe and heed ALL warnings and requests from local authorities. Your possessions and belongings are NOT worth your life! If ordered to evacuate, only take what’s precious to you the most and GET OUT! The other belongings can be replaced! Once again, stay safe! We would like to thank Wrestle Pages reader Scott C. for giving us this breaking news detail.
For those seeking safety and evacuations, Governor Brian P. Kemp tweeted this earlier:
Many thanks to @gdecd for developing this resource to connect people with hotel and lodging availability, visitor information centers, and other important emergency resources as we prep for Hurricane #Dorian. #gapol https://t.co/IWXbCpeadX
