At WWE Payback, Rey Mysterio partnered up with his son Dominik and faced Seth Rollins and Murphy in a tag team match. He suffered a triceps injury during the match and has been in the ring since then.
He previously told fans on Talking Smackdown that he is 99% ready to make a return. Now it seems he could be coming back very soon.
According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Mysterio’s return is likely to be imminent. It was not noted when exactly he will be returning.
“Rey Mysterio should be back any time now as far as in the ring. He said his partially torn triceps healed slower than he had expected but was at about 99 percent.”
