Apollo Crews returned on this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, where he successfully defended the United States Championship against MVP. Bobby Lashley interfered in the match but Crews was able to go over clean.
After the match, MVP officially challenged Crews to a rematch at SummerSlam. It was stated later in the broadcast Crews had accepted.
Crews was supposed to defend the title against MVP at WWE’s The Horror Show at Extreme Rules but was removed after testing positive for COVID-19.
Below is the updated lineup for WWE SummerSlam:
* The Street Profits (c) vs. Andrade & Angel Garza w/Zelina Vega for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship
* Apollo Crews (c) vs. MVP w/Shelton Benjamin & Bobby Lashley for the WWE United States Championship
* Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Randy Orton for the WWE CHampionship
