Jon Moxley is battling an elbow injury, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Details regarding the injury are unknown but it could be an infection that Moxley contracted while working for New Japan Pro Wrestling in Japan this summer. Moxley, who is under contract with All Elite Wrestling, worked for Northeast Wrestling over the weekend. He was originally scheduled to be in singles action but he was switched to tag team bouts, except for a match against Pentagon Jr. According to the Observer, Moxley insisted on doing the match but was careful not to bump on the elbow.
Moxley is scheduled to face Kenny Omega at AEW’s All Out pay-per-view next Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019.
