WWE has announced that MVP will officially challenge Apollo Crews for the United States Champion in the opening match of Monday’s Raw.

MVP vs. Crews was originally scheduled for Extreme Rules two weeks ago, but as Richard reported here, Crews was out of action for a few weeks due to issues involving COVID-19.
This week’s episode will continue the build to SummerSlam on August 23 as Drew McIntyre responds to Randy Orton’s attack, and Asuka looks for retribution against Sasha Banks and Bayley.
