Fightful first reported on Saturday that a WWE draft has been planned for months, but plans have shifted around quite a bit.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has shared some more details that the draft is tentatively scheduled for October, but notes it could be moved back to September. Both Fightful and Meltzer have said that the dates have moved around often with the draft having originally been scheduled for the end of August and then moved to September and now scheduled for October. Fightful also reports that there are currently no plans to end the brand split.
The last draft took place in October of 2019 when WWE’s landmark deal with Fox began, and had a very sports-like feel to it complete with a draft war room.
