There was a recap of Rey Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins and their Eye for an Eye Match match at The Horro Show at Extreme Rules. Tom Phillips welcomed the audience in and Seth Rollins and Murphy came to ringside.

Rollins cut a promo about removing Rey Mysterio’s eye. He said the visual will stay with him forever. He asked the audience if they regret what they have done to him. Rollins joked Mysterio is out of sight.

Seth Rollins w/Murphy beat Aleister Black after Rollins hit the Stomp. On their way out, Rollins pointed back to Black in the ring. Murphy went back in and took him out. Rollins joined in, working Black’s arm. Rollins asked Black where his friends were and hit the Stomp on his bad arm.

Backstage, Ron Simmons told MVP and Bobby Lashley there is a better way to do things after footage of MVP claiming to be the United States Champion at Extreme Rules. MVP brought R-Truth in who said Crews is the real champion. Truth winked at him. Lashley talked about a new 24/7 Champion and a referee showed up. Out of nowhere, Shelton Benjamin pinned Truth to win the WWE 24/7 Championship.

MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley came out. MVP claimed he is the new United States Champion and did not even break a sweat. Lashley rag-dolled Crews so badly he decided to stay home. MVP said after they finish beating up “dumb and dumber” Riochet and Cedric Alexander, they will head to an afterparty to celebrate.

Ricochet and Cedric Alexander came out. Ricochet mocked MVP for his dated “dumb and dumber line.” They said they will become champions again without his help. MVP told them to pick any two of them to face. They have a tag team partner who was returning to Raw. Mustafa Ali came out and the babyfaces cleaned house.

Mustafa Ali, Cedric Alexander and Ricochet beat Bobby Lashley, MVP and Shelton Benjamin. The finish saw Ali hit MVP with a neckbreaker and a 450 splash before getting the pinfall victory.

Randy Orton cut a strong heel promo. He claimed to have ended the career of Edge at Backlash. He bragged about ruining Christian’s chance at one last match and said he would enjoy ending the career of Big Show tonight.

Ron Simmons was shown talking to The Viking Raiders.

Christian was interviewed by the Raw announce team from home. Christian knew what he was getting into when Randy Orton punt kicked him. However, he did not expect Orton to weaponize Ric Flair. He will never look at them the same again. Christian can’t wait to watch Big Show knock out Orton cold.

A backstage segment aired involving Bianca Blair, Peyton Royce, Peyton Royce and Ruby Riott. Belair wondered where Billie Kay was.

Ruby Riott beat Peyton Royce. Tom Phillips stated Billie Kay could not be there because Royce said she was dealing with other business.

Backstage, while speaking to Charly Caruso, Andrade and Angel Garza brawled with the Street Profits.

WWE Raw Tag Team Champions The Street Profits beat Andrade and Angel Garza w/Zelina Vega in a non-title match. The finish saw Montez Ford hit a frogsplash on Garza before pinning him.

Backstage, Zelina Vega told Garza and Andrade to prove they were on the same page because it was their chance to establish their dominance in the tag division.

Sasha Banks and Bayley came out with Banks holding the WWE Raw Women’s Championship belt. Asuka came out with Kairi Sane. Asuka yelled at Banks and demanded her title. Stephanie McMahon came on the big screen and announced Asuka vs. Banks for next week. The title can be lost by pin, submission or outside interference.

Kairi Sane w/Asuka beat WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley in a non-title match. Sane rolled up Bayley for the pin after Bayley attempted a Bayley to Belly suplex. Shayna Baszler was shown watching the match on the backstage monitor and she explained to Charly Caruso why he has a vested interest.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber asked WWE Champion Drew MyIntyre how he was felling. He feels like he fell down several flights of stairs but he is still WWE Champion. And that feels good.

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre came out. He talked about how Dolph Ziggler almost had him with his brilliant stipulation. However, almost is the story of Ziggler’s entire career and it is onward and upward for him heading into SummerSlam. Dolph Ziggler came out. Ziggler claimed McIntyre was afraid but McIntyre told him he had his chance and would save him the embarrassment by leaving. Ziggler attempted to turn him around but McIntyre delivered the Glasgow Kiss headbutt. McIntyre left but Ziggler said he wanted a match with McIntyre and McIntyre could choose the stipulation. McIntyre did not know what it would be but he would let Ziggler know by telling him right before the bell rings.

The Big Show cut a backstage promo on Randy Orton.

Randy Orton beat The Big Show in an Unsanctioned Match. Orton hit an RKO, got a near fall and then grabbed a chair and hit Show multiple times. He hit another RKO and pinned him clean. After the match, Orton punted Big Show in the head and said, “I told you, just like all the others, one more legend dead.” Ric Flair was nowhere to be seen, which was likely the result of his wife having COVID-19.
