This week’s show opened with glitches as five Retribution members were shown causing disruptions at ringside. This week’s broadcast team is Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton and Jerry Lawler.

Retribution entered the ring in masks that revealed their identities. The first four were Dominik Dijakovic, Mia Yim, Dio Maddin and Mercedes Martinez. Dijakovic had a shaved head. The group has contract because they petitioned to be part of WWE.

The Hurt Business came out and Retribution went to ringside. A bunch of masked Retribution members showed up, causing a distraction and allowing the revealed members to gain an advantage.

Sarah Schreiber interviewed Rey Mysterio with his wife and daughter. Rey talked about his son having the opportunity to win a tag title shot.

Angel Garza and Andrade beat Seth Rollins and Murphy & Dominik Mysterio and Humberto Carrillo in a triple-threat to a shot at the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship. The finish saw Garza hit a Wing Clipper on Murphy followed by the pinfall. Seth Rollins walked off during the match.

Backstage, the main members of Retribution cut a promo.

Kevin Owens out for the Kevin Owens Show with Shane McMahon as his guest. Shane hyped Braun Strowman was Dabba-Kato for tonight’s Raw Underground. He introduced Kato who came out. KO remembered what Dabba-Kato did to him two weeks ago. Owens slapped him but Shane stepped between them. Braun Strowman was brought out by Owens. Shane stood between them. Aleister Black came out and pulled Owens groin-first into the ring post. Shane convinced Kato leave as he hyped the fight against Strowman.

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre was interviewed by Charly Caruso. She wants to know about his fractured jaw and fractured friendship with Keith Lee. McIntyre is concerned about the job and understands Lee wants to be champion. McIntyre said they will settle their differences and have drinks at some point.

This week on NXT: The Gauntlet Eliminator and the battle royal to determine the No. 1 contenders to the NXT and NXT Women’s Championships.

Back from break, the five main Retribution members are shown beating up two wrestlers backstage. Dijakovic stated they are judge, jury and executioner.

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Keith Lee ended in no contest. The finish saw Randy Orton attack McIntyre from behind with a chair. After the match, Orton hit several chair shots on McIntyre and kicked Lee in the head.

Randy Orton cut a promo, shaming those for doubting he would make it Clash of Champions. After he got done in the ring he went down to the ambulance and said an ambulance can represent everything from hope to pain to agony and even death. To him, the ambulance represents his 14th world championship.

Asuka backstage with Sarah Schreiber. She wants to know if Mickie James or Zelina Vega is a bigger threat to her title. Asuka spoke in Japanese but was interrupted by Billie Kay. Peyton Royce came in and said maybe Asuka could give her an opportunity. Asuka said no one will be ready for her at the pay-per-view but tonight, she’ll be ready for Royce.

Zelina Vega beat Mickie James to earn a shot at the WWE Raw Women’s Championship at Clash of Champions. The finish saw Vega hita straight jacket Backstabber and get the pinfall for the victory.

Backstage, the Hurt Business are shown beating up random Retribution members.

Apollo Crews w/Ricochet beat Cedric Alexander w/MVP. The finish saw Crews catch Alexander in an inside cradle to get the pinfall victory. After the match, the Hurt Business music played. Crews and Ricochet looked towards the stage and were attacked from behind by Alexander. Lashley ended up putting Crews in the Full Lashley.

The first Raw Underground match of the night was Dolph Ziggler vs. Arturo Ruas. Ziggler won with a rear naked choke.

Seth Rollins came out and cut a promo on the Mysterio family. He had an envelope and said he had the results of an investigation he paid for. He invited the Mysterio family out. Rey, ANgie, Dominik and Aliyah Mysterio came out. Rollins told Rey the results of the test were conclusive – he is not the father. Rey said they went down this road before and it didn’t work then and won’t work now. Rollins said it might not be Dominik who is not Rey’s son but Aliyah who is not his daughter. They showed footage of Aliyah checking on Murphy.

Rollins asked Aliyah what was happened and Rey told him to talk to him, not her. Rollins apologized and said he came out to inform, not drive a wedge into the Mysterio family.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Shayna Bazler and Nia Jax beat Natalya & Lana in a non-title match. The quick match ended when Bazler put Lana in the Kirifuda Clutch. After the match, Baszler and Jax confronted Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan, who were on commentary. Jax ended up putting Lana through the broadcast table with a Samoan Drop.

Backstage, Drew McIntyre was icing his jaw. He told Charly Caruso he is going to beat the piss out of Randy Orton on Sunday but tonight he’s going to pick a fight.

Aliyah told Rey Mysterio she is old enough to speak for herself. Rey warned her she doesn’t know Seth Rollins like he does. He doesn’t want her planting ideas in her head. She said it’s all too much for her and at the end of the day she’s just a naive 19-year-old girl and stormed off. Rey went after her but Angie stopped him.

Back to Raw Underground. Riddick Moss ran through Erik of the Viking Raiders.

WWE Raw Women’s Champion Asuka vs. Peyton Royce in a non-title match ended in no contest. The finish saw Zelina Vega interfere, causing the match to get thrown out. Asuka attempted to counter after the match but Vega got away.

Aliyah is shown backstage sitting on a crate. Murphy approached her. She was scared but he apologized and walked away.

Braun Strowman knocked out Dabba-Kato in a Raw Underground match.

Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander of The Hurt Business beat Mace, T-Bar and Slapjack of Retribution by disqualification. Dio Maddin is Mace, Dominik Dijakovic is T-Bar and the unidentified Retribution member is Slapjack. The match never really got going as the rest of Retribution came out and attacked the Hurt Business to trigger the DQ finish.

Drew McIntyre’s music played and he came out with a group of Raw Superstars. They cleared Retribution from the ring. McIntyre stood tall but Randy Orton connected on an RKO out of nowhere. Orton stood over McIntyre, who held his jaw, to end the show.
