WWE Planning Push In Reaction To Negative Feedback From Fans

A push awaits Naomi on WWE television, PWInsider hears.

Naomi lit up social media with the #NaomiDeservesBetter hashtag earlier this summer. WWE embraced this the following week on SmackDown with a MizTV segment.

They have since given her wins over Lacey Evans (who squashed her on 7/17, triggering the outrage) and WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley in a “Beat The Clock” challenge match on last week’s SmackDown. She has two losses since the hashtag trended, one in the No. 1 contender Battle Royale and another in the “Beat The Clock” challenge against Sasha Banks.

However, despite the .500 record since #NaomiDeservesBetter, rumors suggest WWE hears the message “loud and clear” and they are planning a push for her as a direct result of the negative feedback from fans.

Naomi was not featured on this week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
