There is a significant rumor making rounds in that WWE is looking to move next year’s WrestleMania 37 pay-per-view from the new SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
Jon Alba reached out to WWE regarding the rumor and the company issued the following statement: “We have nothing to report and given the current environment, we continue to monitor locations for all of our potential events.”
According to WrestleVotes, WWE has had Tampa listed as the host city for the show for over a month. There is currently a battle underway with the city of Los Angeles about who can legally cancel the event and when. If there is a traditional WrestleMania, Tampa Bay is scheduled to host.
WrestleMania 36 was supposed to take place from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa but was moved to the WWE Performance Center due to the COVID-19 pandemic. WrestleMania 37 is currently scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 28, 2021.
A statement from a #WWE rep to me regarding the report of WrestleMania from Los Angeles to Tampa (An edit from my previous tweet):

Now that news is out, I can say that WWE has had Tampa listed as the host city internally for over a month. The battle w/ the city of Los Angeles about who can legally cancel the event & when is still underway. However, IF we get a traditional WrestleMania, Tampa Bay will host.
